Epiphany Coffee is a fictitious brand I created to explore what a coffee brand would look like if it had a lighter, more inspirational feel—instead of the traditional brown and earthy tones. The tagline for the brand is “Grounds for Inspiration”.

 
 

Case Study

This project was created as a design challenge to develop a coffee brand where creatives could go and be inspired while drinking their coffee. Uplifting and bright were the adjectives I wanted to portray through the branding. The logomark is the “e” depicting a nice hot cup of coffee to fuel creativity. The lighter teal is peaceful and calming. The crinkled paper illustrates the crumpling of paper when an idea is not going to work and either the person throws it away; or reopens it and gets a fresh perspective and sees the potential in the idea to move forward.

The brand has now expanded into movie props for Dented Cranium Productions, like the film “The Road Less Traveled” and other future film projects.
